Alda Cossi, MD is a board certified Diagnostic Radiologist and a recognized specialist in musculoskeletal ultrasound. Dr. Cossi received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her radiology residency at Lahey Clinic Medical Center, Burlington, MA. While serving full time active duty in the United States Army, as Director of Ultrasound in the Radiology Department at Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio Texas, Dr. Cossi realized the potential of musculoskeletal ultrasound in injured active duty soldiers.  She returned to Lahey Clinic as Director of Ultrasound and started musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging there. She then became Associate Professor at Boston University School of Medicine and Director of Ultrasound and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in the Radiology Department at Boston Medical Center, Boston, MA.

Dr. Cossi has been the director of several musculoskeletal ultrasound hands-on workshops as well as invited guest speaker at local, national and international conferences.
